Maggie’s Cake Pops Butterfly Garden

Maggie's Cake Pops Butterfly Garden

I found these candy butterfly wings at the bake shop. I knew I had to use them for something. I had a customer ask me to make her some “girly” cake pops and thus the butterfly garden was born. I dipped the cake pop in white candy coating. After it set, I put a little bit on the top and held the butterfly wings one by one until they set. Then I used a purple candy writer (you know how I love my candy writers) and added the butterfly “body”. Then I swirled yellow candy coating in a brocade pattern.
I bought a flower candy mold for fun and used the leftover yellow to make some flowers. I used the white candy coating to “glue” the flowers on.
They turned out beautiful and are entirely edible…and delicious!

Cake Pops + Summer Heat = No Problem!!

Standard

Cake Pops + Summer Heat = No Problem! A lot of customers ask how cake pops do in the heat. Cake pops are sturdy and only require room temperature or a nice cool room.  You can put them in a cooler and take them anywhere! They are individually wrapped and stay fresh for up to 2 weeks. But we’ve never seen them last for 2 weeks because they are so delicious!
